Who they are

Dream World are a punk band from Richmond, Virginia. The Bandcamp release page tags the act as anarcho and lists Richmond as the home city. The group followed a 2024 demo cassette with its first vinyl. Releases now span 2024 to 2026. Lineup names are not published on the label page. The self-titled LP followed on July 17, 2026 as the band’s first vinyl. Ten songs run 19:56 in total. The tracklist reads Unholy Creation, Never Ends, New Hell, Oligarch’s Reality, Submission, Facade, Soft Rains, Yes Man, Still Dead, Rebirth. Unholy Creation opens at 2:34, Facade is the longest cut at 3:01, and Rebirth closes at 1:10. The press text describes tom-heavy drumming and shouted, martial vocals, and places the songs in the neo-anarcho-punk scene. It also points to variety across the tracklist. Oligarch’s Reality carries a Killing Joke and Amebix style. Never Ends and Submission bring rock riffs. Soft Rains sets spoken words adapted from a Sara Teasdale poem.

Sorry State Records releases the LP. The label is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. It also runs a brick-and-mortar store at 317 W Morgan Street in that city. The store’s site description names hardcore, punk, and garage rock as its focus. The Dream World LP sits in the catalogue next to this year’s releases by Zorn, Yleiset Syyt, and Psico Galera. All three appear on the label’s current Bandcamp grid.

The current record is the self-titled LP. The pressing is 300 copies with screen printed jackets. Front cover art comes from Thomas Sara. His work also appears on releases by Public Acid and Cicada. The back piece is by bassist Spazzy. The record sells for 20 dollars as a 12-inch vinyl LP and is listed in stock on the label’s Bandcamp. A digital copy costs 9 dollars. It includes high-quality downloads in MP3 and FLAC plus unlimited streaming through the Bandcamp app.

Who they are

Nekra are a hardcore punk band from London. Bandcamp tags on every release list the city. The press text for the new EP calls the group the international pit sisters. Lineup details are not published on the label pages, so member names stay unlisted here.

Discography

The Demo 2017 cassette came first, out May 25, 2017 as MUS147 on La Vida Es Un Mus. Five songs run about six and a half minutes: Sisters Of The Yam, Art School, Blood, Photoshoot, and Expatriate. Artwork came from Suzi Kemp. Jonah Falco recorded, mixed, and mastered the tape. The cassette is now listed as sold out.

Royal Disruptor followed on December 1, 2020 as MUS221. It carries five tracks: Esquire, Groomer, Trash, Red Room, and Amang. Seb recorded and mixed the session at Public Pool. Jonah Falco mastered it. The 7-inch comes on black vinyl with an insert and costs 6 pounds on Bandcamp.

Labels

La Vida Es Un Mus has released all three records. The label is a one-person mailorder operation run from London. It has shipped records for more than 20 years, according to the label site. Sorry State Records also stocks the EP and flagged it as a pre-order on July 29, 2026.

Most recent release

The new EP is titled “Is It Really Living?” It came out August 28, 2026 as MUS338. Five songs run 8:39 in total. Tracks include Intro/ Bad Bitch Stomp, Venas, Futuro Ideal, and Risk Factor. Venas is sung in Spanish. Risk Factor closes the EP at 2:41, the longest track.

Jonah Falco recorded and mixed the EP at Fuzzbrain Studios. Will Killingsworth mastered it at Dead Air. Synth and electronics come from Brulatour. Artwork is by Marcea Decker, and band photos are by Robin Silas Christian.

Bryony Beynon wrote the press text. It marks a decade of the band and describes new pacing across the songs. The one-time pressing is 300 copies on black vinyl. Sorry State noted the run is limited and not likely to stick around long.

  The two members met through Soundcloud: Lise of Maraudeur in Leipzig and Ronni of Marances in Baton Rouge. The record runs on muscular bass lines, wood block drum patterns and softly delivered vocals, often processed with dub effects. Field recordings appear between the songs, and one track title plays on not spelling out the f-word. First pressing of 300 copies on black vinyl in a matte jacket with insert.

  Recorded at Electrical Audio in Chicago, this time with longtime friend Greg Norman engineering. The quartet's second LP follows the 2022 debut, and drummer Neal Markowski says the band wanted to break any habits. Lyrics by JJ Skolnik take the theme of hope as things get demonstrably worse.

  The third Rat Cage LP follows fourteen releases since the first demo, all run by Bry Suddaby. The drums hammer under the riffs and the vocals come as a shouted, cynical bark. The influences are 80s Northern European punk and Swedish hardcore. The preorder ships on powder rose vinyl with a poster, with black available on request.

  The Easy Eight — The Easy Way Out

  Members of The Chisel, Arms Race, Stingray and Last Affront make up the London band, shortened to EZ8. The LP compiles the first two recording sessions.
