Privacy policy

The short version: we collect almost nothing, and what little we collect never identifies you.

Analytics

This site uses GoatCounter, self-hosted on our own server at https://analytics.shorterfasterlouder.com. GoatCounter is cookieless and does not track you across sites. It records, per page view: the page path, the referrer (if your browser sends one), the browser and screen size class, and the country derived from a truncated IP address. The full IP address is never stored.

No consent banner is needed for this setup under the GDPR because no personal data within the meaning of Art. 4 GDPR is processed and no cookies or similar technologies within the meaning of § 25 TDDDG are used.

Hosting

The site is served from a server operated by Hetzner VPS (85.17.239.129). The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security and debugging; logs are rotated automatically and kept for no more than 14 days.

What we never do

No cookies.
No third-party trackers, ad networks, or social pixels.
No accounts, no newsletter, no contact forms that store data.
No sale or sharing of any data with anyone.

Your rights

Because we store no personal data tied to you, there is usually nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you believe otherwise, or have any privacy question, write to hello@shorterfasterlouder.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
